Mooring and sailing maneuvering courses
Have you sailed before, maybe even chartered a boat, but critical moments such as mooring, unmooring, or approaching the gas station keep putting pressure on you?
Every time you take the boat out, you tell yourself you want to take a moment to practice maneuvering, but then you turn on the engine and set out to sail, never being able to take a moment to do some practice?
This course is designed just for you.
It is ideal if you want to approach a cruise with peace of mind, are about to rent a boat for vacation, or simply want to feel safer maneuvering in port. The goal is to help you turn the weakness of many boaters into a real strength.
Why participate?
Those who observe life in ports know this well: shouting on board, lines dropped at the wrong time, chaotic moorings, maneuvers that are difficult to get out of.
The problem is rarely the crew or the boat. Often it is lack of method, communication and awareness.
This course helps you build a solid, replicable and calm approach.
You will learn how to become the point person on board, even in complicated situations.

A useful opportunity for the offshore license as well
This course, while focused on maneuvers, fits neatly into a larger course of training for the Swiss offshore sailing license, as it is a required activity.
It also offers an opportunity to put in some additional miles, strengthen leadership on board and gain confidence before longer sailings.
