free-time-activities.com<\/strong> was founded by Luca Lafranchi in 2013. Since then, he has been dedicated to sharing his passion for sailing and the sea with you.<\/p>

Over the years, Luca has sailed in some of the most fascinating places in the world. He has explored Patagonia, sailing around Cape Horn and the Beagle Channel, navigated the waters of the English Channel between Brittany and England, and sailed extensively across the Mediterranean, from the Adriatic to the Tyrrhenian Sea, from the Ionian Sea to the Balearic Islands, all the way to the Alboran Sea. He has sailed through the Strait of Gibraltar and completed the TRANSAT multiple times, from Martinique to Gibraltar via the Azores. <\/p>

His experiences extend even further, including the Tasman Sea and the Indian Ocean, from Whangarei in New Zealand along the east coast of Australia to Darwin, continuing to the Cocos Islands and reaching Mauritius.<\/p>

With more than 30,000 nautical miles<\/strong> under his belt on boats up to 20 meters and titles such as the Swiss Certificate of Competence for Ocean Yachting<\/span><\/strong><\/mark> and the RYA Yachtmaster Ocean with Commercial Endorsement<\/strong>, in 2018 Luca decided to go the entrepreneurial route.<\/p>
